Restaurant reviews
In addition to juggling a career in communications & PR for an international food company, Mysaucepan is a regular food reviewer for The Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide and has been doing so for many years.
All restaurant reviews conducted for the Good Food Guide by Mysaucepan are not published on this blog for maintaining objectivity, independence and integrity.
Hence, the majority of restaurant reviews is conducted and independently paid for (See restaurant reviews here). All invitations, complimentary meals and products are declared at the end of each blogpost. ChopinandMysaucepan are also keen to interview chefs and restaurateurs about food trends and the philosophy that drives their food businesses. (See chef and restaurateur interviews here).
Although they prefer to dine anonymously, either one or both Chopinand & Mysaucepan will also consider attending restaurant reviews upon invitation provided there is no conflict of interest with Mysaucepan’s role as a food reviewer for The Sydney Morning Herald.
All restaurant reviews on ChopinandMysaucepan are objective, honest and fair assessments of the dining experience on the day of attendance.

Product & Services reviews
ChopinandMysaucepan will consider reviewing products and services which are in line with the theme of their blog and blogging philosophy. These products and services may include the following:
- food products
- beverages – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
- cooking classes
- cookbooks and musical DVDs
- kitchen utensils and equipment
- photographic equipment
- food, drinks and restaurant vouchers
ChopinandMysaucepan do not use published material or articles written by others for its product reviews.
Competition and Giveaways
ChopinandMysaucepan will consider hosting competitions and giveaways on their blog for products and services that relate to food, travel, music and theatre. These giveaways may include free passes / tickets to restaurants, movies, opera and products such as kitchen equipment or food and beverage items.

PR, Event Launches and Marketing Campaign
ChopinandMysaucepan will consider attending food and musical events, restaurant and new product launches. Complete photographic access at the venue of launch events is usually required. All photographs are copyright but are available for purchase.

ChopinandMysaucepan will consider banner advertisements on spaces along the right hand column of the blog for products and services which relate to and complement food, beverages, travel and music.

Depending on schedule and advance notice given, ChopinandMysaucepan will consider travelling to blog about food, culture and new business ventures. See travel blogposts here.
Of particular interest includes travel to regional Australia to promote local produce, artisans and food sustainability and to South East Asia to promote Asian food and culture.
