Sydney’s harbour precinct and natural seascapes offer diners some of the most spectacular and stunning views of a natural harbour as backdrop to a delicious meal. Sydney has a temperate climate with warm summers and mild winters. With at least 320 sunny days in a year, the outdoors play an important part in the everyday lives of Sydneysiders.

Australia has a thriving wine industry that has significantly contributed to producing world-class wines and have complemented the growth of the food and restaurant industry. With a professional and highly respected food guide in The Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide, cafes and restaurants in Sydney and regional areas continue to strive for the highest standards in food service and hospitality.

The abundance of fresh local produce and one of the largest seafood markets in the world has made Sydney a seafood mecca. All these aspects together with the talent, dedication and hard work of chefs and hospitality professionals have made Sydney a truly world-class food and wine destination.
